About
A space to understand and experiment.
Sylvain Ghysens, the person behind Permah
My interest in living spaces and collective projects grew through my involvement with HEN44 and Alternatiba 44. I was president of the Écohameau du Vignoble Nantais association. I organised conferences about self-developed housing projects and visits to eco-villages in Loire-Atlantique, France.
Today I want to connect that experience with useful resources for gardens, animals, trees, collective housing and human relationships. Permah offers documented reference points and tools to record observations, prepare a project and try changes at a practical scale.
Permah connects people, their projects and the living world. Resources cover gardening, animal care, agroforestry, collective housing and human permaculture.
Our editorial approach
Permah distinguishes documented foundations, teaching analogies and its own practical proposals. Cooperation does not erase disagreements or material constraints. We do not publish promises of healing or guaranteed results.
