What should I prepare before keeping hens?

List your resources, proposed housing, professional support and backup carers. Check species requirements and local rules before buying. This prepares the project without personalised health advice.

What should I record in an animal-care journal?

Record routines, dated observations, professional interventions and backup instructions. Separate observations from interpretations. For health issues, contact a competent professional.
